Swedish by origin, I am currently based in London.

I graduated in 2008 from Central Saint Martins Collage of Art and Design with a
BA 1st Honours Degree in Design for Performance.

Apart from design and prop/costume/mask making skills, my strengths are communication, research, organisation and problem solving.

My main sources of inspiration when designing – apart from the script/libretto/story - tend to be the venue itself and the audience that will experience the event.

I am interested in the architecture of dreams, children’s games, rules, rituals (religious and non-religious), fairy tales and myths, merging of characters, alienation of everyday objects and actions, and making use of the imagination of an audience.

My 3rd year Research Project at CSM, titled Eat or be Eaten – representations of cannibalism in myth, art and performance, focused on the folk tale of Hansel and Gretel and the devising process of a theatre piece based on it. I hope to further explore the area of consumption/ cannibalism and folk tale in future academic and artistic work.

Studying Fine Arts at a multi-disciplinary art collage, I started designing for the college theatre course productions in 2002.
This lead on to University studies in dramatic theory at Göteborgs Universitet and work with fringe theatre at Allikateatern, Unga Folkteatern, Magma Collective, AktÖr&Friends, Teater Panjal and Teater Bhopa.

Apart from work in the arts, I have experience of educational and care work in Sweden and Scotland, mainly with children and young adults with learning disabilities.
